How to send simple sms when integrated with livechat?

This document is designed to describe the procedure of setting webhook in LiveChat. LiveChat is an online customer service software with live support,help desk software, and web analytics capabilities.

How to create configure key & configure in Live Chat

Configuration Steps: to configure Live Chat we need to  follow the 2 step

  Step-1 - Generate configure Key from Msgclub 

 Step-2 - Configure In Live Chat

Step-1 How to generate configuration for Send SMS-


We have 6-7 way to send sms by Msgclub

1.Personalised SMS 

2. send sms 

3. Add Contact To Phonebook

4. Send SMS and Add Contact To Phonebook

5. Send Personalised SMS and Add Contact To PhoneBook

6. Send Voice SMS

7. Send Voice SMS and Add Contact To Phonebook


1.Personalised SMS 

  1. Login to your MSGCLUB account and select Add-on from title bar showing in the screen shot.


  1. When you click on Add-on  so a page will open where you can search for Live Chat now click on the Configure button 

  



  1. When you click on the Configure button so a page will open where you can see Different option Like : Send sms, personalise sms etc. now select the GO button in which you want to  configure. For personalise sms click on that. Showing in the screen shot 



4.  When you click on the GO button so a page will open .



 Select Event from the drop down, then follow the step.- 

enter Configuration Name 

select Default Route

enter Default Sender ID

SMS description (create your sms here)

enter your signature (your company name)

enter Default Mobile Number (Enter any number of mobile numbers separated by commas you want to send SMS, if checkbox is checked SMS will be sent to all these numbers along with the number which you

 are getting from your tool and if checkbox is unchecked these numbers will be stored

 and SMS will be sent to the number which you are getting from tool or this field can

be left blank)

Response Email (this is the email in which notification will be sent after SMS is sent) and click on submit.


  1. A msgclub configure key will be generated. You have to copy and paste this key at the time of Web hook setup in the URL field of Live Chat.


2. send sms 

Now you know how connected with the msgclub follow the step for send comment sms . 

1. Select event as you want  

2. select Default Route

3. enter Default Sender ID

4. SMS description (write your common sms here )

5. enter your signature (your company name)

6. enter Default Mobile Number (Enter any number of mobile numbers separated by commas you want to send SMS, if checkbox is checked SMS will be sent to all these numbers along with the number which you

 are getting from your tool and if checkbox is unchecked these numbers will be stored

 and SMS will be sent to the number which you are getting from tool or this field can

be left blank)

7. Response Email (this is the email in which notification will be sent after SMS is sent) and click on submit.


Add Contact To Phonebook- 

Now you know how connected with the msgclub follow the step for send comment sms . 


Configuration Name- default he give you configuration but you can change the name as you want. 

Event- from there you can select your  event.

Select Default Group- if you create any group name in msgclub phonebook so you can select your default user name from there. 

Add New Default Group- here you can select your default phone book group . 

First he give you default name but if you want to  select group from your phonebook so select group from “default option ” and left this option blank.

Name-  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event.

Email Id -  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event. 

Mobile Number* -  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event.

City -  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event.

Occupation -  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event.

Address -  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event.

 Birth Date -  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event.

Anniversary Date -  select option from where you want to  select name according to your event.

Response Email (you will be notified on this) -(this is the email in which notification will be sent after SMS is sent) and click on submit.

and click on submit.


From where you can check the number in msgclub.


To check the number you need to  open your msgclub account  not at the left side show some option then click on phonebook >> Your group . 

Your all saved number will shown their. 



Send Voice SMS and Add Contact To Phonebook

Configuration Name- default he give you configuration but you can change the name as you want. 

Event- from there you can select your  event.

select Default Route

Caller ID - type 10 digit caller id (any)

Draft File - Select your draft file from there . the file should be approved from provider.

Note- You can check your approved file from your account just clickon voice sms from top then click on select file. Showing the screen shot.

Duration - type your file duration. 

Then click on the save button.


You can check the voice file approved status from your msgclub , voice panel , then click on select file so  a page will open where you can check your status 


Step-2 - How to Configure In Live Chat


To active the live chat you need to  install the live chat and live on your website by which user  can reached to  your .





1. Login to Live Chat Account and click on setting icon



2. Click on integrations-



3. Click on add webhooks-



4. Select Event, Data type and Enter Target URL (which you got while generating live chat configuration key ) and click on Add a Webhook-



5. Now you will get sms for the  active chat events .


6. Now when any visitor go to your website and start chat (depend on selected event on livechat side) than a message will send to selected number (number which we had selected at the time of configuration creation).



7. You can also see delivery report of send sms by going to delivery report option in your msgclub user account.
