For example, when you get an SMS from a brand like <em>DM-ABCDEF<\/em>, &#8220;ABCDEF&#8221; is the header.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of headers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Promotional<\/strong> ( Numerical Sender Id Only) &#8211; for offers, ads \u2013 uses numbers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Others<\/strong> (<strong>Transactional\/Service<\/strong> )( Alphabet )- for OTPs, alerts uses 6 letter words like your brand name<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This step is important because without an approved header, you won&#8217;t be able to send any SMS\u2014even if your entity is registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Use-Case\"><strong>Use Case<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A business named <strong>Star Retail<\/strong> wants to send SMS like order updates and offers.
