What is a WhatsApp Bot?
A WhatsApp Chatbot provides your customers with a real-time automated conversational experience directly on the messaging app. With chatbot, you can send automated messages from your WhatsApp number to your customer instantly without any delay. People communicate with WhatsApp chatbot via the chat interface, like talking to a real person.
To create a chatbot, the user must first plan and define the flow of how the bot should work. Once the flow is ready, the next step is to create the required templates.
- If the user is the initiator of the communication, they should begin by creating a broadcast template.
- After that, they can create the chat template.
Creating a chat template is not mandatory—you can build your entire chatbot using only the broadcast template if required.
Once both templates are in place, the user can proceed with building their chatbot.
